Text by the artist:
A visualization of André Breton's "Dream
sentence":
"A man is cut in half by the window": "... one night before falling asleep,
I became aware of a most bizarre sentence ... It seemed to me a highly insistent sentence
- a sentence, I might say, which knocked at the window ... the sentence truly astounded
me. Unfortunately I still cannot remember the exact words to this day, but it is something
like "A man is cut in half by the window ..."
("Le Manifeste du Surréalisme", 1924).
